What Is All-on-4?
All-on-4 is a full-arch restoration — replacing an entire row of teeth (top or bottom) using just four implants as anchors. It's designed for patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, or whose remaining teeth are beyond saving. The four implants are placed at strategic angles to maximise bone contact, then a full arch of prosthetic teeth is attached.
The result: a complete, fixed set of teeth in a single procedure. No removable dentures. No gaps. Patients eat, speak, and smile normally — often from day one.
Why Does the Process Look Different Clinic to Clinic?
In the UK, All-on-4 requires an oral surgeon, an anaesthetist in many cases, a dental lab making custom prosthetics, and multiple clinical sessions — often coordinated across separate specialist practices.
In Istanbul, the same clinical procedure uses the same implant brands and the same prosthetic materials, with the surgical, imaging and prosthetic teams frequently working under one roof. That can streamline scheduling across the two trips and keep your case with a single coordinating team throughout.
What Does the Treatment Process Look Like?
Trip 1 (5–6 days)
- Day 1: Full consultation, CBCT 3D scan, treatment planning
- Day 2: Any necessary extractions
- Day 3: Implant placement surgery (under local anaesthetic)
- Days 4–5: Fitting of temporary arch — you leave with a full set of teeth
Trip 2 (3 days, 3–5 months later)
- Implant integration check
- Final impressions for permanent prosthetic
- Fitting of permanent zirconia arch
Is It the Same Quality?
The implants themselves — yes. Ultra Diş uses Straumann, Nobel Biocare, and MIS implant systems, all of which are used in UK practices. The prosthetics are manufactured in accredited dental labs using the same CAD/CAM zirconia technology.
What differs is the experience and environment. Our clinic is equipped with CBCT 3D scanning, piezo surgery, and guided implant placement software — tools that aren't standard even in many UK practices.
